Abstract:
Provided are a touch detection method and apparatus for a steering wheel. A steering wheel comprises at least one touch detection region, each touch detection region being provided with at least one touch detection sensor. The method comprises: for each touch detection region, generating a plurality of reference signals that correspond to a plurality of specific frequencies on a one-to-one basis; respectively applying each reference signal to a touch detection sensor in the touch detection region, and acquiring, from the touch detection sensor, each touch detection signal under each reference signal; acquiring measurement values of the touch detection signals; according to the measurement values of the touch detection signals, determining touch detection states that respectively correspond to the touch detection signals; and on the basis of the quantity of each type of touch detection states in the touch detection states corresponding to the touch detection signals, determining a touch state of the touch detection region of a steering wheel, wherein the touch state comprises a non-hand-off state, a hand-off state and an invalid state.
