Abstract:
The present invention relates to a traffic cone that includes a stand (1) planted on the surface of the ground and a cone body (2) providing a warning of danger, wherein the traffic cone comprises: a storage unit (10) detachably provided on the stand (1) and having an air tank (11) and an injection valve (15) for storing and filling pressurized air; an alarm unit (20) connecting the air tank (11) to a duct (21) and an air horn (23) and including an alarm valve (25) on the duct (21), wherein the alarm valve (25) has a flow ball (25a) that resiliently oscillates in the center thereof to open and close the passage, and an auxiliary valve (27) holding an actuating bar (26) in an air-tight manner, which actuating bar engages with and induces the flow ball (25a) to oscillate; and a sensing actuator unit (30) provided exposed on the stand (1) for detecting an external impact and opening and closing the alarm valve (25). Accordingly, the present invention provides a traffic cone having an alarm function which enables a worker to quickly move out of the way of danger when an external impact opens the valve and sounds the air horn, enables the alarm function to be easily and conveniently mounted on an existing traffic cone without having to undergo separate manufacturing processes, promotes price competitiveness by reducing processing and cost through parts which use ready-made and recycled products, prevents environmental pollution, and improves the lightening, compacting, and precision of the overall structure thereof so as to significantly improve the convenience thereof in use and service life.
