Abstract:
The present invention proposes a training data collection method using a laser preview, which collects data for machine training of artificial intelligence (AI). The method may comprise the steps of: a training data collection apparatus receiving detected data from a radar fixedly installed on a vehicle; the training data collection apparatus identifying an object from the received detected data; and the training data collection apparatus controlling, in correspondence to the distance between the vehicle and the identified object, LiDar that is fixedly installed on the vehicle and is to radiate laser pulses. According to the present invention described above, it is possible to reduce data having relatively low importance from among pieces of data for machine training of artificial intelligence (AI) by controlling a data collection period of multiple sensors installed in a vehicle, which collect data for machine training artificial intelligence (AI) that may be used for autonomous driving, or the quality of data to be collected.
