Abstract:
This transmission apparatus that improves data reception quality is provided with: a first pilot insertion unit (207A) that inserts a pilot signal for a first precoded signal; a phase change unit (205B) that performs a phase change by i×Δλ for a second precoded signal, where i represents a symbol number, and i is an integer of 0 or higher; an insertion unit (207B) that inserts the pilot signal for the second precoded signal which has undergone the phase change; and a phase change unit (209B) that performs a phase change for the second precoded signal which has undergone the phase change and insertion of the pilot signal, wherein Δλ satisfies π/2 radian <Δλ <π radian, or π radian <Δλ < 3π/2 radian, and wherein the phase change unit (205B) and the phase change unit (209B) perform the phase changes when the communication scheme is an OFDM scheme but do not perform phase changes when the communication scheme is a single carrier scheme.
