Abstract:

The present invention enables a plurality of streams from a source to be simply and reliably acquired on the receiving side when the plurality of streams are combined and transmitted as a single stream. The plurality of streams, which are constituted by a series of individual packets, are combined and transmitted as a single stream. At least a fixed pattern part of the packets of the plurality of streams is encrypted using a unique key for each stream in order to separate the packet for each stream on the receiving side. The packets of the plurality of streams are then subjected to time-division multiplexing to obtain a single stream.
