Abstract:
A transmitting apparatus has a multiplexing means that multiplexes a common pilot channel, a shared control channel and a shared data channel; a means that performs an inverse Fourier transform of the multiplexed signal to produce symbols; and a means that transmits the produced symbols. The multiplexing means frequency multiplexes the shared control channel, which is used for demodulating the shared data channel including a payload, and the common pilot channel, which is used for demodulating the shared control channel and also used in common to a plurality of users, while time multiplexing the common pilot channel, shared control channel and shared data channel. If the number of the symbols constituting TTI decreases (the period per symbol becomes longer), the frequency of inserting the common pilot channel is reduced accordingly, whereby the transmission efficiencies of the channels other than the common pilot channel can be maintained.
