Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an inexpensive transparent gas barrier film with excellent acid resistance. The present invention is a transparent gas barrier film that is a plastic film having, on at least one surface of the plastic film, an aluminum oxide layer comprising aluminum oxide as a main component, the transparent gas barrier film characterized in that an absorption coefficient of the aluminum oxide layer at a wavelength of 350 nm immediately after vapor deposition is 8.0x10-4 nm-1 to 4.0x10-3 nm-1, and the unchanged amount of the absorption coefficient is 3.0x10-4 nm-1 or less at a film thickness of 6 nm to 20 nm.
