Abstract:
Provided is a transport method which transports a machined component to a transfer point at a plurality of different speeds while maintaining transfer quantity per unit of time. The transport method includes: a transmission shift step which, by way of a first retaining unit, which is capable of receiving an absorber (3) at a receiving position, performs same-speed rotation of a drive wheel which is supported via a transmission shift mechanism, shifts the speed of the first retaining unit from a receiving position to a prescribed relay position (E2) using a transmission shift mechanism; a control step which controls speed of a servo motor so as to perform drive control of second retaining units (31 and 34) so that speeds of the second retaining units (31 and 34) which can retain the absorber (3), at the relay position (E2), reach a receiving speed at which the absorber (3) can be received from the first retaining unit, and so that the second retaining units (31 and 34) reach the relay position (E2) and the transfer position (E3) and the second retaining units (31 and 34) at a prescribed cycle period; and a speed change step which changes the transfer speed while maintaining the cycle period.
