Abstract:
The present invention increases the degree of freedom in teaching a traveling region to an autonomous traveling body. A traveling region determination method comprises: a step (S41) for displaying a global map (GM) on a screen; a step (S43) for determining an inside of a region of a polygon as a temporary traveling region (PTA) of the autonomous traveling device (100) by arranging the polygon on the global map (GM); a step (S44) for determining whether or not an obstacle interferes with the autonomous traveling device (100) traveling the outer circumference of the temporary traveling region (PTA); and a step (S45) for determining a region where the interference does not occur as a traveling region (TA).
