Abstract:
This traveling robot comprises: a traveling body provided with a carriage including front and rear wheels and a floor frame, and a drive unit that drives the wheels to rotate; a support mechanism configured to be capable of raising and lowering a retaining tool which can support a loading platform; and a picking robot that loads goods onto the loading platform, or that unloads goods from the loading platform. The drive unit is mounted on the floor frame, and the floor frame forms a protruding part that protrudes forward from the location where the drive unit is mounted. The support mechanism is attached to a front end of the protruding part. The picking robot is installed on the protruding part, and is disposed between the support mechanism and the drive unit in the front-back direction and is arranged on or more toward the rear than a virtual vertical line passing through the front wheel.
