Abstract:
This treatment device is provided with: an acquisition unit for acquiring information indicating an estimated value for the amount of an ash deposit which has been deposited on a filter for collecting particulate matter in exhaust from an engine, as well as information indicating the atmospheric pressure; a calculation unit for calculating a permitted ash deposit amount threshold value corresponding to a permitted ash deposit amount that changes depending on the atmospheric pressure; a determination unit for determining that the filter needs to be cleaned if the estimated value is at or above the permitted ash deposit amount threshold value; and a notification unit that, if it has been determined that the filter needs to be cleaned, performs notification to that effect.
