Abstract:
This treatment instrument comprises: a sheath; a center shaft that extends in a width direction orthogonally intersecting the length direction of the sheath; and forceps that have a first forceps piece and a second forceps piece, at least one of said first forceps piece and said second forceps piece being supported so as to be able to open and close treating the center shaft as the center, wherein the lengths of the first forceps piece and the second forceps piece in the aforementioned width direction are greater than or equal to the lengths of the first forceps piece and the second forceps piece in the aforementioned length direction.
