Abstract:
Provided is a THB production method having improved efficiency. Provided is a trihydroxybenzene (THB) production method including a step in which: a bacterial culture fluid including deoxy-scyllo-inosose (DOI) is heated at a high temperature of at least 80°C; and a product solution including trihydroxybenzene (THB) is obtained.
