Abstract:
This tunnel excavation device comprises a front body part and an erector device. The front body part has a cutter head and a cutter head support that rotatably supports the cutter head. The erector device is provided to the cutter head support. The erector device has an orientation changing device and a turning ring that holds a support member. The orientation changing device is configured such that when viewed in a plan view, the yaw angle defined by the turning axis of the turning ring and the rotation axis of the cutter head can be changed.
