Abstract:
The invention relates to a turbine (10) for a turbocharger of an internal combustion engine, with a turbine housing (12), which has a receiving region (18) for at least partially receiving a turbine wheel of the turbine (10) and at least two channels (14, 16) through which exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine can flow and which each have an inflow opening (20, 22), via which the exhaust gas can be introduced into the respective channel (14, 16), and an outflow opening (24, 26), via which the exhaust gas can be conducted from the respective channel (14, 16) into the receiving region (18), and which can be at least partially fluidically separated from one another downstream of the inflow openings (20, 22) and upstream of the outflow openings (24, 26), with at least one throughflow opening (28), which is arranged downstream of the inflow openings (20, 22) and upstream of the outflow openings (24, 26) and via which the channels (14, 16) can be fluidically connected to one another, and with at least one bypass channel (32), via which at least some of the exhaust gas can bypass the turbine. A valve body (34) is adjustable between a closed position, which simultaneously closes the bypass channel (32) and the throughflow opening (28), and at least one open position, which at least partially releases simultaneously the bypass channel (32) and the throughflow opening (28), and is movable into at least one intermediate position lying between the closed position and the open position, in which intermediate position(s) the valve body (34) at least partially releases the throughflow opening (28) for fluidically connecting the channels (14, 16) formed asymmetrically in relation to one another and fluidically blocks the bypass channel (32).
