Abstract:
This ultrasonic device has: a switch for selecting a voltage generated by a first predetermined number of oscillators out of multiple oscillators; and multiple semiconductor devices. Each semiconductor device generates a second predetermined number of sets of time series data indicating temporal changes of the second predetermined number of voltages different from the voltages received by other semiconductor devices among the first predetermined number of voltages, extracts, from each set of the time series data, data on a predetermined delay amount, and adds the extracted data on the predetermined delay amount. The semiconductor device further adds data addition results from the own semiconductor device and another semiconductor device and generates image data on the basis of the addition result. The design of an ultrasonic device appropriate to the number of reception channels required can be simplified by mounting common semiconductor devices on the ultrasonic device.
