Abstract:
Provided is a device or the like which is capable of achieving an improvement in welding quality by achieving an improvement in the estimation accuracy of the completion of the removal of coatings of conductors to be subjected to ultrasonic welding. The ultrasonic vibration energy (E) of a horn (11) is adjusted on the basis of the displacement amount (the reference displacement amount (∆Z)) of the horn (11) in at least a portion of a time period extending from a state in which an FFC and a PCB are sandwiched between the horn (11) and an anvil (12), via a "first stable state" in which the displacement speed (v) of the horn (11) stabilizes in a first speed range in the course of the increase of the displacement speed (v), to a "second stable state" in which the displacement speed (v) stabilizes in a second speed range which is a higher speed range than the first speed range.
