Abstract:
The ultraviolet-absorbing composition contains 1.0 × 10-7 mol/g to 1.0 × 10-3 mol/g of an ultraviolet-absorbing compound having a maximum absorption wavelength of 380 nm or less in a solution prepared by dissolving the compound in a solvent having no maximum absorption in the wavelength range of 300‑600 nm so that the concentration is 1.0 × 10-6 mol/L to 1.0 × 10-3 mol/L at 25°C. When the composition is formed into a 10 µm thick film, the film has a transmission rate of 5% or less for light with a wavelength of 390 nm.
