Abstract:

Disclosed is a vehicle door frame structure that prevents ingress of water into the double-sided contact portion of a door frame without employing a special waterproofing member such as a seal or a sponge. A vehicle front-side double-sided adhesive tape (200A) is provided straddling from a first flange portion (120) to the end of a second flange portion (130) on the front-end side of the vehicle in such a way as to cover a vehicle lateral direction outer-side portion (110T) of a double-sided contact portion (110). Accordingly, the ingress of water into the vehicle lateral direction outer-side portion (110T) of the double-sided contact portion (110) is prevented. In other words, the double-sided adhesive tape (200A) functions both as a coupling member for fixing the garnish (150) and a waterproofing member for preventing the ingress of water through the vehicle lateral direction outer-side portion (110T) of the double-sided contact portion (110). Accordingly, a waterproofing member such as a seal or sponge can be dispensed with and, as a result, the costs of the vehicle door frame structure can be reduced.
