Abstract:
The present invention relates to an underwater camera image correction system and method for inspecting the bottom of a ship, and more particularly, to an underwater camera image correction system and method for inspecting the bottom of a ship, wherein an original image is captured using an underwater camera, the peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) of the original image to which a filter and a lighting value have been applied is compared, and a corrected image, obtained by applying the filter and the lighting value at which the PSNR is a maximum value, is output. Further, the present invention relates to an underwater camera image correction system and method for inspecting the bottom of a ship, wherein the PSNR of the original image, to which the lighting value and the inter-object distance of the underwater camera have been applied, is compared when the filter is determined, and a corrected image, obtained by applying the lighting value and the inter-object distance of the underwater camera at which the PSNR is a maximum value, is output.
