Abstract:
[Problem] To reduce problems caused by non-constant velocity motion of a cross shaft, and to improve the convenience of a universal joint. [Solution] An unnecessary motion is caused in which a shaft rod 12 of a cross shaft 10 tilts toward a joint yoke 15 besides rotation for power transmission. According to the present invention, conversely, joint parts 18 on both sides that are integrated with a newly installed connection part are made tiltable so as to alternately move toward the axis rod 12 like a seesaw at a seesaw pivot point of the joint yoke 15. As the effect of suppressing the unnecessary motion by means of the configuration of the joint yoke 15 that does not require tilting of the cross shaft 10, and bringing the cross shaft 10 closer to the original rotation state for power transmission, it is possible to directly join, without the cross shaft 10, the seesaw type joint yoke 15 of the present invention with a power transmission shaft 39 that is fixed to and moves together with a propeller or a gear.
