Abstract:
The present application provides an uplink control information (UCI) transmission method and a communication apparatus. In a NIB scenario, due to the high requirement on real-time information feedback and relatively high exchange latency between network devices, the UCI multiplexed by a terminal device on a target uplink control channel resource only comprises one piece of feedback information, so that at least one network device can correctly receive the feedback information, thus maximizing the performance improvement. In an IB scenario, due to the relatively low exchange latency between network devices, the network devices can learn in time an uplink control channel resource corresponding to feedback information on an uplink time unit, such that the UCI that the terminal device can multiplex on a target uplink control channel resource comprises multiple feedback information, thus maximizing performance improvement. It can be seen that the present application can also reduce the detection complexity on the network device side compared with the method in which network devices cannot learn the UCI transmission of the terminal device.
