A circular weft knitting machine needle cylinder upper disc (1), a circular weft knitting machine needle cylinder comprising the needle cylinder upper disc, and a circular weft knitting machine comprising the needle cylinder. The circular weft knitting machine needle cylinder upper disc comprises annular disc bodies (11) having an annular structure, and a plurality of transverse plate members (12); the length direction of the transverse plate members is provided in the radial direction of the annular disc bodies, a plurality of annular disc bodies are provided on the upper surfaces of the annular disc bodies around the axes of the annular disc bodies, and transverse slots (14) are formed between two adjacent transverse plate members; and at least one of the transverse slots is internally provided with a second through groove (13) penetrating through the thickness of the annular disc bodies, the second through groove penetrates through the outer edges of the annular disc bodies, and the transverse depth of the second through groove is greater than zero and less than the radial width of the annular disc bodies. The circular weft knitting machine can conveniently and quickly knit double-sided cloth having cut loop piles.
