Abstract:
An urban rail transit platform with a circulating walkway and a passenger conveying method. The platform at least comprises one conventional area and at least one combined area. At least one circulating walkway is arranged in at least one lateral vehicle-adjacent area in the at least one combined area. The circulating walkway can carry passengers to move in a length direction of the walkway, and with the aid of the circulating walkway, passengers can reach their desired positions more rapidly. A plurality of circulating walkways can be arranged transversely, longitudinally or in two directions in the vehicle-adjacent area. Within the range of the whole platform, at least one area section in at least one vehicle-adjacent area is one of a passenger getting-off area, a passenger getting-on area, a passenger getting on/off area, a non-passenger area and a no-vehicle area. Further disclosed are a getting on/off method and a method for departing from a waiting position upon arrival in a vehicle-adjacent area of such a platform.
