Abstract:
The present invention suppresses contamination of a production line by a urine-receiving pad production method comprising the step of removing removal parts from both end portions in the width direction at both end portions in the longitudinal direction in an absorbent main body. This production method comprises the steps of: intermittently bonding continuous elastic leg members (208) to continuous side sheets (206); forming a continuous absorbent main body (210) by forming a laminate of a continuous back-side sheet (203), a plurality of absorbent bodies (204) and a continuous front-side sheet (202) on the pair of continuous side sheets and folding the pair of continuous side sheets on the continuous front-side sheet; cutting the pair of continuous elastic leg members while forming a shape recessed inwardly in the transverse direction by removing removal parts (221) from both end portions in the transverse direction in intermediate regions (MA) which are between adjacent absorbent bodies of the continuous absorbent main body and in which the pair of continuous elastic leg members is not bonded to the other sheets; and sequentially forming absorbent main bodies by sequentially cutting the continuous absorbent main body at the centers of the intermediate regions in the direction of transfer.
