Abstract:
Devices, systems and methods for lossless coding for visual media coding are described. An exemplary method for video processing includes performing a conversion between a video comprising multiple color components and a bitstream representation of the video, where the bitstream representation conforms to a rule that specifies that one or more syntax elements are included in the bitstream representation for two color components to indicate whether a transquant bypass mode is applicable for representing video blocks of the two color components in the bitstream representation, and where, when the transquant bypass mode is applicable to a video block, the video block is represented in the bitstream representation without use of a transform and quantization process or the video block is obtained from the bitstream representation without use of an inverse transform and inverse quantization process.
