Abstract:
A use of collagen particles in the preparation of a pharmaceutical product which promotes hair follicle formation or angiogenesis of an individual. The particle size of the collagen particles are about 10 to 200 micrometers and are administered to the individual at an effective dosage of about 0.1 to 1000 milligrams per square centimeter. A preparation method comprises a supercritical carbon dioxide treatment, an alkali treatment and a hydrogen peroxide treatment without the use of organic solvents and crosslinking agents.
