Abstract:
A UV sterilization apparatus having an air circulation function according to the present invention comprises: a pillar unit having a cylindrical shape with hollow inside; a support for supporting one side of the pillar unit; a plurality of UV lamps arranged along the circumference of the cylindrical pillar unit; an attachable/detachable cover for covering the pillar unit and the plurality of UV lamps when being installed; a cover sensor which senses the attachment/detachment of the cover; an air suction unit for allowing an inner space of the installed cover to be in communication with the outside; a ventilation fan which is configured to suck and discharge the air in the cylindrical pillar unit; and a microcomputer which implements an air circulation mode, in which the ventilation fan is operated while the UV lamps are turned on, when the cover installation is sensed, and implements a periphery sterilization mode, in which the periphery is sterilized through direct UV irradiation by turning on the UV lamps, when the cover detachment is sensed.
