Abstract:
Pins (5A, 5B) are columns which are positioned in the gap between an inner-circumferential surface (1a) and a tip end surface (3a) of a vane (3A), and have a diameter which is larger than the distance between the inner-circumferential surface (1a) and each of both ends of the tip end surface (3a). A holder (6) is affixed between the pin (5A) and the pin (5B) on the tip end surface (3a), and has a connecting hole (6a) which connects an advance angle hydraulic chamber (11E) and a retard angle hydraulic chamber (12E) to one another. A coil spring (4) is provided in the connecting hole (6a) of the holder (6), and biases the pins (5A, 5B) in the direction of the advance angle hydraulic chamber (11E) and the direction of the retard angle hydraulic chamber (12E).
