Abstract:
Provided are a vaporizer and an aerosol-generating apparatus comprising the same. A vaporizer according to some embodiments of the present disclosure may comprise: a porous wick for absorbing a liquid aerosol-generating base material through a porous body; and a heating element which includes a planar heating pattern embedded in the porous body, and generates an aerosol by heating the absorbed aerosol-generating base material through the heating pattern. The heating pattern is embedded at a predetermined depth from the surface of the porous body, thereby increasing the amount of aerosol generation and reducing the risk of wick breakage and a carbonization phenomenon.
