Abstract:
 The present invention has, in order from an object, a first lens group G1 having a negative refractive power, a second lens group G2 having a positive refractive power, and at least one lens group G3, an interval between the first lens group G1 and the second lens group G2 changes and an interval between the second lens group G2 and the lens group G3 adjacent to the second lens group G2 on the image side thereof changes during power variation, the first lens group G1 has, in order from the object, a positive lens group G11 having a positive refractive power and a focusing lens group GF for moving along the optical axis during focusing, and the present invention satisfies a predetermined conditional expression. The present invention thereby provides a variable-power optical system provided with good optical performance during focusing, an optical device, and a method for manufacturing a variable-power optical system.
