Abstract:
 The present invention has a first lens group G1 having a positive refractive power arranged furthest toward an object, and an image-side lens group arranged on an image side relative to the first lens group G1, an interval between at least the first lens group G1 and the image-side lens group changes during power variation, and the image-side lens group has an vibration-reduction lens group GVR for moving so as to include a movement component in a direction orthogonal to the optical axis, and a focusing lens group GF for moving along the optical axis during focusing. The present invention thereby provides a variable-power optical system provided with high optical performance, an optical device, and a method for manufacturing a variable-power optical system.
