Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a vehicle air conditioner which can supplement insufficient heat during heating without requiring a dedicated heater for heating air supplied to the vehicle cabin. [Solution] In a heat medium circuit 30, a heat medium heat exchanger 23 and a heat medium radiator 16 are connected in parallel to each other, and in the heat medium circuit 30, a flow path which circulates the heat medium that has absorbed heat released from an electric motor M can be switched to the heat medium heat exchanger 23 side or to the heat medium radiator 16 side. By this means, when heating the vehicle cabin, because insufficient heat can be compensated for with heat discharged from the electric motor M, a dedicated heater for heating air supplied to the vehicle cabin becomes unnecessary, and manufacturing costs can be reduced.
