Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle control device that brings the roll amount and pitch amount of a vehicle body closer to an optimal vehicle body orientation, according to the motion state of the vehicle, with a small amount of energy. This vehicle control device for a vehicle body, said device comprising: a vehicle body; a plurality of wheels that support the vehicle body; a plurality of motors for rotating each wheel; a plurality of suspension actuators installed between each wheel and the vehicle body, wherein an actuator control unit controls an actuator so as to not interfere with a jack-up force when a determination unit determines that the jack-up force brings the actual vehicle body orientation closer to a target vehicle body orientation, and controls the actuator so as to interfere with the jack-up force when the determination unit determines that the jack-up force keeps the actual vehicle body orientation away from the target vehicle body orientation.
