Abstract:
Disclosed is a vehicle drive device provided with a dynamo-electric machine, a power transmission mechanism that transmits power from the dynamo-electric machine to a wheel, a drive device that drives the dynamo-electric machine, a housing member that forms therein a first housing chamber that houses the dynamo-electric machine, a second housing chamber that houses the power transmission mechanism, and a third housing chamber that houses the drive device, and forms a first partition wall that divides the first housing chamber and the second housing chamber in an axial direction and a second partition wall that divides the second housing chamber and the third housing chamber in a radial direction, and in the first housing chamber, a rotation angle sensor that acquires rotation angle information of the dynamo-electric machine, and a first wiring that electrically connects the rotation angle sensor and the drive device. The first wiring is routed so as to run from the first housing chamber through the first partition wall into the second housing chamber, and from the second housing chamber through the second partition wall into the third housing chamber.
