Abstract:
According to the present invention, the entire vehicle driving apparatus including an inverter device is reduced in size, and a layout suitable for being installed in a vehicle is achieved. The present invention pertains to a vehicle driving apparatus (1) provided with a rotary electrical machine, a transmission (TM), a differential gear device (DF), and an inverter device (3). When the apparatus has been installed in a vehicle, a rotational axial center (X3) of the differential gear device (DF) is disposed below and rearward (R) in the vehicle relative to a rotational axial center (X1) of the transmission (TM). Above the differential gear device (DF), at least part of a capacitor (36) and at least part of a conversion unit (31) constituting the inverter device (3) overlap each other in the vehicle forward-backward direction (L), and these two parts are disposed so as to overlap with the differential gear device (DF) in the vehicle forward-backward direction (L).
