Abstract:
This vehicle heater apparatus comprises a housing (3), a light source (4) or a sensor unit (11), a lens unit (5), an internal space (6), and a heater unit (7). The housing (3) forms an outer shell. The light source (4) or the sensor unit (11) is provided inside the housing (3), and emits light outside the vehicle or transmits and receives electromagnetic waves. The lens unit (5) is transmissive to the light emitted from the light source (4) or to the electromagnetic waves transmitted and received by the sensor unit (11). The internal space (6) is a space which is formed in a sealed or semi-sealed manner by the housing (3) and the lens unit (5). The heater unit (7) is provided on the lens unit (5) and generates heat when energized. The heater unit (7) is configured such that the amount of heat generated per unit time in a part (71) closer to the bottom of the vehicle with respect to the center of the lens unit (5) in the up-down direction is greater than the amount of heat generated per unit time in a part (72) closer to the top of the vehicle with respect to the center of the lens unit (5) in the up-down direction.
