Abstract:
Information pertaining to a vehicle (1) is transmitted from an onboard device (2) in the vehicle and is received by an intermediate server (5). A priority order is set on the information-user side in advance for categories of information being requested for transmission, and the intermediate server processes the received information in accordance with the priority order. Information belonging to a category having a high priority order is processed promptly and transmitted to an information user server (6), and information belonging to a low-priority category is processed in accordance with the processing status of the intermediate server, and is transmitted to the information user server with a prescribed timing.
