Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle lamp (1) comprising: a container-like lamp body (2) with a front surface that is open; and a front-surface cover (4) assembled on the front-surface opening of the lamp body (2) and defining a light chamber therein. On a rear surface wall (6) of the lamp body (2), a plurality of beams that are substantially circular arc-shaped in a cross section and that constitute a portion of the rear surface wall (6) extend from an upper edge of the rear surface wall (6) to a lower edge, in the form of a truss. The beams have a circular-shape in a cross section and disperse stress, and as a result thereof, the beams improve the rigidity of the rear wall surface. The truss structure of the beams constituting a portion of the rear surface wall also improves rigidity without requiring an additional reinforcing member.
