Abstract:
Provided is a vehicle lamp that can be reduced in size and in which there is no need for a reflecting plate (reflecting surface) exclusively for light (and return light thereof) for detection object detection, or space for installing the reflecting plate. Provided is a vehicle lamp comprising: a first light source (20) for emitting visible light; a reflecting surface (31) designed so as to reflect the visible light emitted by the first light source to form a light distribution pattern for the vehicle lamp; and a LiDAR device (50) having a second light source (51) for emitting light for detection object detection, the light being transmitted in a first detection range, and a light-receiving element (54) for outputting an electrical signal corresponding to the intensity of the return light when return light as reflected light for detection object detection reflected by a detection object is incident, the LiDAR device being disposed so that a light Ray 2 for detection object detection, emitted by the second light source and reflected by the reflecting surface, is transmitted in a second detection range larger than the first detection range.
