The present invention increases design properties during lighting of a lamp for a vehicle lamp comprising a light guide. Emitted light from a light source (30) that has entered a light guide (40) from a first end surface (40a) thereof is guided in the left-right direction while being totally reflected at a plurality of reflective elements (42s1, 42s2, 44As1, 44As2, 44B) formed on a back surface (40c) of the light guide (40), thereby being emitted to the front of the lamp from the light guide (40). At such time, as the configuration of the plurality of reflective elements (42s1, 42s2, 44As1, 44As2, 44B), the reflective elements are formed so as to extend in the up-down direction in a state of being disposed with gaps therebetween in the left-right direction, and some of the reflective elements (42s2, 44As2) are formed partially missing in the up-down direction. The foregoing makes it look like the light guide (40) is shining in a striped pattern with substantially uniform brightness at a plurality of locations in the left-right direction during lighting of the lamp.
