Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a vehicle motion control device for generating a traveling track which enables realization of high safety and a pleasant riding comfort having a small physical amount regarding a vehicle behavior such as longitudinal acceleration, lateral acceleration, and vertical acceleration generated during passage or avoidance of a prescribed region such as bumps and recesses on a pathway of a vehicle. This vehicle motion control device is provided with: a vehicle behavior prediction section that predicts a physical amount regarding a vehicle behavior generated when a vehicle keeps a reference route toward a prescribed region on a pathway of the vehicle and a physical amount regarding a vehicle behavior generated when the vehicle shifts to an avoidance route for avoiding the prescribed region; and a track generation section that generates a traveling track defined by the reference route or the avoidance route in which the physical amount is smaller than a prescribed value.
