Abstract:
[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to produce a molding that shows little product variation even when the blending quantity of metal powder is increased in the case of performing molding by pouring not only the metal powder but also a powdered resin directly in an injection molding machine. [Solution] In a method for producing a molding by mixing and kneading a molding material comprising metal powder, a powdered thermoplastic resin, and an additive, an injection molding machine has disposed therein a molding screw configured to have a feed part, a compression part, and a metering part arranged continuously as an integral unit. The feed part and the compression part are composed of a single spiral flight. The flight at the compression part has a plurality of sub-flights that are spirally formed in the screw axis direction, and the sub-flights consist of polygonal shapes with rounded corners and are arranged so that the corners are disposed at positions displaced at an angle set in the circumferential direction of the screw axis. The metering part has disposed therein a plurality of compounding alignment parts having gear-shaped projections and recesses in the circumferential direction of the screw axis.
