A vehicle-mounted device for use in a vehicle-mounted network, the vehicle-mounted device comprising: a time synchronization unit that transmits and receives time synchronization information, which is information for time synchronization, between a subject device that is the vehicle-mounted device and another vehicle-mounted device, to thereby calculate a time difference from the other vehicle-mounted device, the time synchronization unit performing time synchronization with the other vehicle-mounted device on the basis of the calculated time difference; a detection unit that monitors first transmitted information, which is information transmitted from the other vehicle-mounted device to the subject device, to detect anomaly related to the contents of the first transmitted information; and an anomaly processing unit that, when an anomaly is detected by the detection unit, performs a termination process to terminate the time synchronization in the vehicle-mounted network using the time synchronization information transmitted from the other vehicle-mounted device.
