Abstract:
This vehicle-mounted navigation system (1) is provided with a vehicle device (2) having a route guidance function, and a mobile terminal (3) capable of communicating with the vehicle device (2), wherein: the vehicle device (2) is configured in such a way that when set to convert a command in a built-in language into another language, the vehicle device (2) converts the command into a command ID, transmits the converted command ID to the mobile terminal (3), receives speech data in the other language, transmitted from the mobile terminal (3), and outputs the received speech data in the other language as speech; and the mobile terminal (3) is configured in such a way as to acquire the speech data in the other language corresponding to the received command ID on the basis of the command ID and a database containing speech commands in the other language, and to transmit the acquired speech data in the other language to the vehicle device (2).
