Abstract:

A vehicle recording device (10) comprises: an imaging data acquisition unit (120) that acquires imaging data (300) imaging the surroundings of a vehicle; an event detection unit (125) that detects an event in relation to the vehicle; a recording control unit (123) that saves the imaging data (300) as normal recording data (310) not based on an event, or event recording data (320) based on an event; a communication control unit (126) that establishes a connection with a communication terminal (400); and an access control unit (127) that, when the communication terminal (400) with which a connection was established is a recording terminal (410), enables access to the normal recording data (310) and the event recording data (320) by the recording terminal (410), and when the communication terminal (400) with which the connection was established is a non-recording terminal (420), prevents access to the normal recording data (310) by the non-recording terminal (420), and allows access to the event recording data (320).
