Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a vehicle supervision device that enables improvement of the accuracy of following a target route of a vehicle. This vehicle supervision device 1 for supervising automatic operation of a vehicle 2 by a vehicle control device 21 mounted to the vehicle 2, is provided with a communication unit 11, a vehicle characteristic identification unit 12, and an identification accuracy estimation unit 13. The communication unit 11 is communicatively connected to a vehicle control device 21. The vehicle characteristic identification unit 12 acquires a traveling track of the vehicle 2 and a control command value for the automatic operation from the vehicle control device 21 via the communication unit 11, and identifies a vehicle characteristic for use in the automatic operation. The identification accuracy estimation unit 13 estimates an accuracy of identification that is of the vehicle characteristic and that is performed by the vehicle characteristic identification unit 12. An automatic operation supervision unit 14 supervises the automatic operation of the vehicle 2 on the basis of the identification accuracy estimated by the identification accuracy estimation unit 13.
