Abstract:
[Problem] To make it possible to accommodate a request for cooling or controlling temperature of in-vehicle devices not only during heating operation but also during cooling operation when air conditioning is carried out using waste heat from the in-vehicle devices, and also to accommodate a request for supercooling in-vehicle devices in an air conditioner that utilizes waste heat from the in-vehicle devices. [Solution] Provided is a vehicular air conditioner 1 comprising: an indoor air-conditioning unit 10 which is equipped with a heat-absorbing heat exchanger 30 and a heat-dissipating heat exchanger 40; a heat medium circuit 80 which recovers waste heat of multiple in-vehicle devices 84, 85 by circulating a heat medium in series through the in-vehicle devices by way of the heat-dissipating heat exchanger; and a control unit 100 which performs control on the indoor air-conditioning unit and the heat medium circuit. The indoor air-conditioning unit is equipped with multiple air flow passages that selectively pass through the heat-absorbing heat exchanger and the heat-dissipating heat exchanger, and is further equipped with air flow passage selection units 26, 28, 51, 64 that select one or more of the multiple air flow passages. The control unit at least controls the selection of air flow passages performed by the air flow passage selection units.
