Title:
VEHICULAR OUTER MIRROR WITH LAMP
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2016/017554
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention makes it difficult for a phenomenon to occur where the light radiated from a lamp is visually recognized by another vehicle or a pedestrian as a light-emission pattern different from a pattern intended by the designer due to the outer shape of a mirror housing.
A mirror housing (14) has a side turn lamp (16) built therein. The mirror housing (14) includes a downwardly inclined surface (32) formed at a position above a lens (26) of the side turn lamp (16). The downwardly inclined surface (32) is diagonally downwardly inclined and has luster. Some of turn lamp light radiated from the lens (26) to the outside is reflected by the downwardly inclined surface (32). The relative positional relationship of the lens (26) and the downwardly inclined surface (32) is set such that the reflected light passes above a horizontal direction.
