Abstract:
This vehicular pedal comprises: a hollow arm (11) that includes two molded bodies (11a, 11b) of a prescribed length; and a pedal sheet (12). The molded bodies (11a, 11b) respectively have recesses that extend in the longitudinal direction. The two molded bodies (11a, 11b) are joined to each other in a state where the respective recesses oppose each other. The hollow arm (11) has a wall (18) that forms an opening (17) at a first end of the hollow arm (11) in the longitudinal direction. The wall (18) has straight portions and corner portions. The straight portions are so configured such that the pedal sheet (12) is to be welded thereto. The corner portions have formed therein reinforcement parts that are configured to prevent the corner portions from being distorted upon acting of a tread force applied by a user on the pedal sheet (12).
